Ensure the surface is thoroughly cleaned and free of grease before applying thermal paste. We recommend using JunPus TIM Cleaning Wipes or a similar cleaner like isopropyl alcohol. The thermal paste should be at least at room temperature before application. In colder environments, warm the paste slightly with a hairdryer or let it sit near a radiator. When applying, spread the paste very slowly to achieve even coverage. For a typical CPU, a slow wiping motion (around 3 seconds) is ideal for optimal results.

Should I store the thermal paste in its original packaging after use?
